The Summer Research Lab orientation sessions will teach participants how to navigate the University of Illinois Library system. We will cover web research portals, searching and requesting items from the catalog, available technologies, and accessing library resources from off campus during your stay. Sessions will last approximately 30 minutes, with an optional tour of the library to follow. We recommend you choose a session soon after your arrival so that you can make the most of your research time. The starting point for the orientation session will be at the International and Area Studies Library, which is located in room 321 of the Main Library.
